2 The Brightest Star In The Brunch...

So it has come to my attention that I've been coming to The Noho Star for YEARS and not once did it dawn on me to write something up about it. How that happened...I have no idea. My sincerest apologies for the disservice. Without further ado...

What's The Noho Star and why do you feel you've done us a disservice?
The Noho Star is an American style gourmet restaurant located down in the Noho area of Manhattan (as if the name of the place didn't give it away). I feel like I've done you all a disservice because this place just might be in my top 3 when it comes to places to eat for brunch. No lie...EVERYTHING IS AWESOME (in my finest Lego Movie voice)!!!

How did you find out about this place?
My father. He was watching food network one day and they were on it featuring one of their signature dishes... the Bruschette on Genoa Toast (or Eggs Bruschetta as I like to call it). Out of curiosity we went down there and haven't stopped going since.

Have you had the Bruschette?
I'd be a fool not to...especially since that's the reason we went down there! I can honestly say that if I've been to Noho 100 times...I've ordered the eggs bruschetta 95 times out of that 100. Whether it was an appetizer or entree that dish was happening!

Damn! Well what's so good about it? And do you order anything else?
Soft scrambled eggs with goat cheese, roasted tomatoes, and basil pesto. THAT'S WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT IT! I'm talking about LOADS of flavor! Can't say I've had a bad order of that yet. As far as the other items I've had:
- Eggs Hauge - house-cured arctic char, poached eggs, and basil pesto on a homemade biscuit
- Huevos Rancheros -with green chilli salsa, guacamole, and sour cream
- The Noho Burger - with guacamole, cheddar, and bacon
- Grilled Aged Prime Beef Burger - with English cheddar or maple-cured bacon (or both!), on toasted brioche bun, french fries, and cole slaw
- Crab Cakes Benedict - with poached eggs and Hollandaise
- Brioche French Toast - with pure maple syrup (really good!)
- Steak and Eggs - self explanatory
- Home fries (some of the best I've had)
- Bloody Mary and The Noho Bloody Mary (way better then a normal one)

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

That's crazy! Is there anything else on the menu that you haven't ordered?
There's a few things...not many though. And I have yet to go there for lunch or dinner so I still have a long way to go when it comes to conquering their whole catalog. I thoroughly enjoy their food and don't think there is anywhere else I would rather eat before 12PM. #adoptMeNohoStar!

Umm, sad news. Did you hear that boozy brunches are about to be no more? http://jezebel.com/bottomless-brunches-are-illegal-and-now-happiness-is-de-1530853535

    1. Noho is probably my favorite place for brunch! You NEED to try it out...especially with your fondness of burgers ;)

Yeah I heard about that and personally think it's ridiculous but what can you do? Nothing good, great, or intoxicating will last forever unfortunately :(
