Ok, no I didn't go on a psychedelic drug ride thru Vegas with Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Reference for those who are not aware).
I'm talking about the Flying Dog brewery produced, Gonzo Imperial Porter.
I had the opportunity to try this brew at DTUT last week, and man was it delicious!! Has a full body to it, with a vanilla, dark chocolate, and espresso smell to it. Wasn't overwhelming with a dark stout taste, as the mixture of sweetness when it first hits your taste buds to a good bitterness when it goes down.
Rated at 9.20% ABV
If you get a chance to try this brew, please do, plus the bottle itself is pretty damn awesome!
